A single colour-changing maple leaf symbol displays the latest available reported flight category. Weather updates require a Wi-Fi internet connection and a supported reporting airport.

Green, VFR

Ceiling above 3,000 ft and visibility over 5 SM.

Blue, Marginal VFR

Ceiling 1,000 to 3,000 ft, or visibility 3 to 5 SM.

Red, IFR

Ceiling 500 to 999 ft, or visibility 1 to 3 SM.

Purple, Low IFR

Ceiling below 500 ft, or visibility under 1 SM.

White flashes

Brief white flashes indicate a reported thunderstorm.

The intersection has to exist at your airport. The black panel is the taxiway you're standing on. The yellow panels are the taxiways you can turn onto from that spot, with arrows pointing the way you'd go.

Copy it from a real location sign or your airport's diagram in the Canada Flight Supplement (or the FAA Chart Supplement). Some intersections have two taxiways on the left and two on the right of the black panel; leave any you don't need blank.

My airport doesn't report weather. Can I still order?

Yes. Use "Check airport availability" first. If your airport has no current reports, the sign can use the nearest reporting station; tell us which one in the notes, or we'll suggest one when we confirm your order.

What if I'm not sure the intersection is right?

Order anyway and add a note. We compare every layout with the airport diagram before we build, and we'll email you if something doesn't match.

When will it ship?

Every sign is built to order. After you pay, we'll email you within two business days to confirm the layout and give you a ship date.

Can I send it as a gift?

Yes. Enter the recipient's address at checkout and add a note.

Can I use it for flight planning?

No. It's a decorative aviation display. Reported weather may be delayed or unavailable. Always use official aviation weather and briefing sources for flight decisions.
